FAQ

Website hosting, email and SEO/AEO questions

Clear answers before work starts. For a specific site, send the current website and latest bill so we can review the real domain, DNS, email and hosting setup.

How much does small business website hosting cost?

Basic hosting starts from NZ$60 per year, equivalent to NZ$5 per month when billed yearly. Plus starts from NZ$120 per year. Pro starts from NZ$300 per year.

Can I move my website without breaking email?

Usually yes. We check MX, SPF, DKIM, forwarding and related records before changing hosting or nameservers.

What is static website hosting?

Static hosting serves prebuilt website files without a database or plugin stack. It is often faster, simpler and cheaper for normal 1-5 page business websites.

Do I own the website and domain?

Where practical, domains and third-party accounts should stay under the customer's business ownership. If PhotonMark helps with purchase or renewal, that help does not transfer ownership to PhotonMark.

What is included in NZ$5/month hosting?

Basic includes static website hosting, SSL, uptime checks and five retained backups when billed yearly. Text changes, new pages, email help and DNS repair are quoted separately.

Can PhotonMark set up Zoho Mail, Google Workspace or Resend?

Yes. Options can include Zoho Mail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, forwarding, hosted mailboxes or Resend for website form sending, depending on what the business needs.

Do you guarantee Google rankings or AI answer inclusion?

No. We can improve technical setup, content clarity and structured data, but we do not guarantee rankings, map placement or AI answer inclusion.

Is support 24/7?

No. Support is normally by email. Emergency or after-hours support is available only if agreed and quoted before relying on it.
